Ski-Dazzle is a small family company based in La Tania with three chalets. We are looking to recruit people either friends or a couple to run Chalet Juliette (sleeps 14), two people to run Chalet Dahu (sleeps 12) and two people to run Chalet Jamais Bleu (sleeps 14) plus two drivers/ski host/handy person.

Being a small company means that we really care if our guests enjoy their holiday with us. Many of our clients are regular guests, whom have become accustomed to being looked after to an extremely high standard by our conscientious staff. With that in mind, we prefer more mature applicants who will take more pride and time in their work and who can converse well with the guests.

Chalet Chef (3 positions)

A high standard of cuisine is required. Relevant qualifications or professional experience is preferable, and a passion for cooking and confidence in throwing dinner parties is necessary. The daily fare starts with a full cooked breakfast; afternoon tea is left ready for our guests on their return from the slopes. There is the option of a children's supper and, for the adults, a four course dinner with local wines and coffee.

Essential: UK/EU passport or full EU Visa/UK National Insurance.(Non smoker preferred)

Package: Monthly salary paid in the UK, Accommodation and food in the resort, Lift pass, Ski Insurance, Rental of Ski equipment, Travel to and from the resort.

Other Duties besides Cooking: Assisting with the cleaning of the chalet. In charge of ordering the food and the wine. Carrying out stock checks on a weekly basis.

Chalet Hosts (3 positions)

The Chalet chef is supported by a Chalet Host, who takes care of all housekeeping duties, which include setting up and serving at meals, washing up, assisting the chef and cleaning the chalet on a daily basis. It is important that the chalets are kept clean at all times (daily cleaning of all public areas, toilets and en-suite facilities, making beds, emptying bins & kitchen hygiene). Thoroughly cleaning the chalet on transfer day, changing linen, towels etc, sorting dirty linen for collection and making necessary preparations for new arrivals.

We will be looking for a friendly and outgoing nature as you will be the main point of contact for our guests.

Essential: UK/EU passport or full EU Visa/UK National Insurance, (Non smoker preferred)

Package: Monthly salary paid in the UK, Accommodation and food in the resort, Lift pass, Ski Insurance, Rental of Ski equipment, Travel to and from the resort.

Other Duties: Snow clearing, bringing in the logs.

Driver/Ski Host/Handy Person

To apply for this position you will ideally be over 21 years of age and you must have held a clean driving license for at least five years. Experience of driving a mini bus is essential. As well as weekend transfers there will also be midweek transfer work plus other driving duties.

You should be able to ski or board to a high standard and capable of skiing/boarding black runs. A knowledge of the Three Valleys would be an advantage.

You will also be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the chalets, so excellent DIY skills are a must as you will be expected to fix minor problems.

Additional Duties.

  • Maintenance and upkeep of the vehicles, accounting for all mileage and fuel consumption costs
  • Assisting with deliveries and movement of stock between the chalets.
  • Assisting in the Chalets when required
  • Collection and delivery of wine to the chalets
  • Driving the chalet hosts on shopping days, bringing them back and helping unload the shopping at respective chalets
  • Snow Clearing
  • Hot Tub Maintenance
