Booking The Chalet

Is there a single occupancy charge?

All of our prices are based on twin occupancy therefore we have to charge under occupancy of any rooms which are not filled to this capacity. The price varies according to the  date of travel rather then being a set supplement. Expect to pay between 50-80% of the full person price. Additional empty beds in your group will be charged at 100%

Do I have to book the whole chalet?

Our catered chalet unless stated is sold on a sole occupancy basis. If you are not able to fill it, please get in contact with us. Children of all ages are welcome in any of our chalets when a chalet is booked in its entirety. If you are a smaller family group with children, please contact us to see if it is possible to book just some of the rooms.

In the Chalet

Do you provide slippers?

We can provide slippers for those who have not bought their own and we have a no outdoor shoe policy within the chalet.

What’s provided in each room?

A hairdryer, one bath towel, one hand towel per guest, a bath robe per guest (adults only) complimentary hand wash, shower gel and shampoo

Do you provide towels?

Yes,hand and bath towels are provided. In order to reduce energy consumption and our impact on the environment, we do not offer a mid week towel change.  Should you wish to have your towels changed mid week, the charge is 15 Euros per person.

Can we use the kitchen in the chalet?

In our catered chalet, no one other than the chalet hosts are permitted to use the kitchen for cooking. Guests are not permitted to use the kitchen to cook on the staff days off.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 4pm and check out is at 9.30am

Is there internet access?

There is free Wifi in all our chalets.

However, the internet in the mountains can be very slow and often unreliable compared to towns and cities.

If you wish to use the internet for work purposes while staying with us please be prepared to use your cellular data for this, as we cannot guarantee internet speeds sufficient for this purpose.

Children

Do you offer discounts for children?

Our discounts are as follows (age of the child is at time of travel)

*Fold out small mattress in parents’ room or siblings room 50% off full price

Under 12 £50 off

*Under 2 pay £200 when sharing parents’ room (in a cot) in a fully occupied chalet (14 guests)

Child discount is not applicable if a group discount has been applied.

Can you provide baby equipment in the chalet

Highchairs and cots can be provided, but we ask that you bring your own bedding. We can pre-purchase nappies/wipes etc on your behalf.

Food and Drink

What are the meal times?

Breakfast is served between 8.00am – 9.00am.

Afternoon tea will be laid out after breakfast until 6pm.

Evening meal will begin at 7.30pm

Children’s supper is at 6.00pm.

Can we drink the water out of the tap in the chalet

Yes, the water is safe to drink

Can you supply soft drinks?

Sirop, Coke, Lemonade, Tonics and bottled water are provided.  (we have a soda stream for sparkling water)

Is there a limit on how much alcohol we can have?

Wine is free flowing from 7pm until the end of dinner. We also provide 10 crates of beer (100 bottles) and three cases of Prosecco.

 

Do we get breakfast on the last day?

Yes, breakfast is provided. If your departure is before 7am, breakfast will be laid out the evening before for you to help yourself to, but we can’t guarantee that there will be fresh bread as this is delivered each morning, and could arrive after your departure time.

Do we get dinner if we arrive late on the first night?

If you are arriving at the chalet after 7.30pm, whether planned or if you are delayed, as our chalet hosts must finish work by 9.30pm, the evening meal will be reduced to a main course and dessert.

If you arrive at the chalet after 8.30pm, you will be offered a light supper of bread, cheese and charcuterie.

Hot Tub

When can we use the hot tub?

Opening times are from 11am up until the evening meal (7.30pm). After this time the tub is chlorinated for 12 hours.

Can we use the hot tub on the first night?

The hot tub is out of action for your first evening as the water is changed weekly and takes 12 hours to heat up.
